Indication

Magnesium deficiency; symptoms such as nervousness, irritability, mild anxiety, fatigue, muscle spasms or tingling.

Ingredients

• Magnesium lactate dihydrate
• Pyridoxine hydrochloride

Direction

Adults: 1–2 tablets twice daily with meals. Or as directed by the prescribing physician. Take orally with a full glass of water.

Side effects

• Gastrointestinal: mild nausea
• diarrhea (usually at high doses).
• High doses of magnesium: diarrhea
• hypotension
• bradycardia (mainly in renal impairment).
• Peripheral neuropathy with excessive long
• term vitamin B6 intake.

Precautions

• Contraindicated in patients with renal failure (risk of hypermagnesaemia).
• Use with caution in patients with renal impairment.
• Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine) at high doses over prolonged periods may cause peripheral neuropathy.
• Consult a doctor before use in pregnancy.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Do not exceed recommended dose.
