Indication

Appetite stimulant and tonic used to support weight gain and general fatigue.

Ingredients

• Arginine 1000 mg/10 ml
• Cyproheptadine 3 mg/10 ml

Direction

Take orally as directed by a physician. Read the enclosed leaflet before use.

Side effects

• Drowsiness and sedation (common).
• Dizziness
• headache.
• Dry mouth

• constipation.
• Increased appetite and weight gain.
• Urinary retention (rare).
• Hypersensitivity reactions (rare).

Precautions

• Do not use in patients with hypersensitivity to cyproheptadine or arginine.
• Use with caution in patients with asthma
• glaucoma
• urinary retention
• or prostatic hypertrophy.
• Cyproheptadine may cause drowsiness
• avoid driving or operating machinery.
• Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding without physician advice.
• Avoid concurrent use with MAO inhibitors.
• Use with caution in patients with hepatic impairment.
• Keep out of reach of children.
