Indication
- High blood pressure (hypertension) - Chronic stable angina - Vasospastic (Prinzmetal's) angina
Ingredients
- Amlodipine 5 mg
Direction
Usually one 5 mg tablet once daily, with or without food, at the same time each day. The dose may be increased by a physician up to 10 mg daily.
Side effects
- Swelling of the ankles or feet (oedema)
- Headache
- Flushing
- Dizziness
- Palpitations
Precautions
- Use with caution in severe liver impairment and severe aortic stenosis
- Use caution in patients with heart failure
- May cause dizziness
- avoid abrupt discontinuation
- Inform your doctor if pregnant or breastfeeding
