Indication
- Superficial ocular bacterial infections - Conjunctivitis - Blepharitis - Trachoma (Chlamydia trachomatis) - Prophylaxis of ophthalmia neonatorum
Ingredients
- Tetracycline Hydrochloride
Direction
Apply a small amount (approximately 1 cm) into the conjunctival sac of the affected eye(s) 2 to 4 times daily. Avoid touching the tip of the tube to the eye or any surface.
Side effects
- Temporary blurred vision
- Local eye irritation
- Stinging or burning sensation
- Redness or itching of the eye
Precautions
- Hypersensitivity to tetracyclines
- Prolonged use may cause fungal overgrowth
- Discontinue if irritation occurs
- Use only for ophthalmic purposes
