Indication

- Superficial ocular bacterial infections - Conjunctivitis - Blepharitis - Trachoma (Chlamydia trachomatis) - Prophylaxis of ophthalmia neonatorum

Ingredients

• Tetracycline Hydrochloride

Direction

Apply a small amount (approximately 1 cm) into the conjunctival sac of the affected eye(s) 2 to 4 times daily. Avoid touching the tip of the tube to the eye or any surface.

Side effects

• Temporary blurred vision
• Local eye irritation
• Stinging or burning sensation
• Redness or itching of the eye

Precautions

• Hypersensitivity to tetracyclines
• Prolonged use may cause fungal overgrowth
• Discontinue if irritation occurs
• Use only for ophthalmic purposes
