Indication
- Asthma - Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) - Maintenance of airflow obstruction - Prevention of bronchospasm
Ingredients
- Fluticasone Propionate and Salmeterol Xinafoate
Direction
Inhale orally using the inhaler device. Typically 1-2 puffs twice daily (morning and evening). Rinse mouth with water after use.
Side effects
- Throat irritation
- Hoarseness/voice changes
- Headache
- Oral candidiasis (thrush)
- Palpitations
- Muscle cramps
Precautions
- Not for acute asthma attacks
- Rinse mouth to prevent thrush
- Monitor for fungal infections
- Caution in cardiovascular disease
- Do not stop abruptly
