Indication
- Heavy menstrual bleeding (menorrhagia) - Post-operative hemorrhage control - Epistaxis (nosebleeds) - Hereditary angioedema - Dental procedure bleeding in hemophiliacs
Ingredients
- Tranexamic Acid
Direction
Take orally with or without food. The standard dosage is 500mg to 1000mg three to four times daily as directed by a healthcare provider.
Side effects
- Nausea
- Diarrhea
- Vomiting
- Dizziness
- Allergic skin reactions
Precautions
- History of venous or arterial thrombosis
- Active thromboembolic disease
- Severe renal impairment
- Acquired color vision disturbances
- Hypersensitivity to tranexamic acid
