Indication
- Superficial wound protection - Post-operative wound covering - Catheter and cannula fixation - Waterproofing for underlying dressings - Prevention of pressure sores
Ingredients
- Polyurethane film (Adhesive film dressing)
Direction
Clean and dry the wound area thoroughly before application. Remove the protective backing and apply the film over the wound, smoothing it from the center outwards.
Side effects
- Local skin irritation
- Allergic reaction to adhesive
- Redness or itching
Precautions
- Do not use on infected wounds
- Ensure skin is dry before application
- Do not stretch film during application
- Monitor for signs of infection
- Single use only
