Indication
- Respiratory tract infections - Ear, nose, and throat infections - Urinary tract infections - Skin and soft tissue infections - Dental infections - Helicobacter pylori eradication - Lyme disease
Ingredients
- Amoxicillin
Direction
Take orally with water, typically every 8 or 12 hours. It is best taken at the start of a meal to minimize gastrointestinal discomfort.
Side effects
- Diarrhea
- Nausea and vomiting
- Skin rash or hives
- Oral or vaginal candidiasis
- Abdominal pain
Precautions
- History of penicillin hypersensitivity
- Risk of severe allergic reactions
- Adjust dosage in renal impairment
- Monitor for antibiotic

- May affect oral contraceptive efficacy
