Indication

- Upper respiratory tract infections - Lower respiratory tract infections - Urinary tract infections - Skin and soft tissue infections - Otitis media (ear infections) - Dental abscesses

Ingredients

• Amoxicillin

Direction

Take orally with a full glass of water. Can be taken with or without food, usually every 8 to 12 hours as prescribed.

Side effects

• Diarrhea
• Nausea or vomiting
• Skin rash or hives
• Oral or vaginal yeast infection
• Abdominal pain

Precautions

• Allergic reactions to penicillins
• Cross
• reactivity with cephalosporin antibiotics
• Renal impairment requiring dose adjustment
• Potential for Clostridioides difficile
• associated diarrhea
• Use with caution in infectious mononucleosis
