Indication
- Respiratory tract infections - Urinary tract infections - Skin and soft tissue infections - Bone and joint infections - Otitis media - Dental infections
Ingredients
- Cephalexin
Direction
Take orally. Usually administered every 6 to 12 hours for 7 to 14 days; complete the full course even if symptoms improve.
Side effects
- Diarrhea
- Nausea and vomiting
- Abdominal pain
- Skin rash or hives
- Indigestion
Precautions
- Hypersensitivity to cephalosporins or penicillins
- History of gastrointestinal disease (colitis)
- Use with caution in kidney impairment
- Prolonged use may result in superinfection
