Indication

Candid-V3 is a vaginal tablet containing Clotrimazole used as a 3-day course to treat vaginal candidiasis (thrush) caused by Candida species.

Ingredients

• Clotrimazole 200 mg

Direction

Adults (women): Insert one vaginal tablet (200 mg) as deep as possible into the vagina using the applicator at bedtime for 3 consecutive nights.

Side effects

• Common: local vaginal burning
• stinging
• or irritation.
• Uncommon: allergic contact dermatitis.
• Rare: systemic allergic reaction.

Precautions

• For vaginal use only.
• Avoid during the first trimester of pregnancy
• consult a doctor for use in 2nd and 3rd trimesters.
• May damage latex condoms and diaphragms — use alternative contraception during treatment.
• Consult a doctor if symptoms persist after treatment or recur frequently.
• Avoid contact with eyes.
