Indication

Non-sedating antihistamine used for the relief of symptoms of chronic idiopathic urticaria (hives) including itching and skin reactions, as well as seasonal allergic rhinitis.

Ingredients

• Fexofenadine Hydrochloride 180 mg

Direction

Adults and adolescents 12 years and over: 180 mg once daily, taken before a meal. Avoid taking with fruit juices.

Side effects

• Headache.
• Nausea.
• Dizziness.
• Rare: drowsiness
• tachycardia.

Precautions

• Avoid taking with grapefruit
• apple
• or orange juice — significantly reduces absorption.
• Separate from aluminium/magnesium
• containing antacids by at least 2 hours.
• Use with caution in renal impairment.
• Not recommended in pregnancy without medical advice.
• Keep out of reach of children.
