Gofen 400 Clearcap 400 mg

Indication

Gofen 400 (ibuprofen 400 mg) is an NSAID used for the relief of mild to moderate pain including headache, dental pain, menstrual cramps, musculoskeletal pain, and for the reduction of fever.

Ingredients

• Ibuprofen 400 mg

Direction

Adults and adolescents over 12 years: 1 capsule (400 mg) every 4–6 hours as needed. Maximum 3 capsules (1200 mg) in 24 hours without medical supervision. Take with food or milk to reduce stomach upset.

Side effects

• Stomach pain
• heartburn
• nausea
• vomiting.
• Diarrhea or constipation.
• Dizziness
• headache.
• Fluid retention (rare).
• Gastrointestinal bleeding with prolonged use (rare).

Precautions

• Do not use if allergic to ibuprofen
• aspirin
• or other NSAIDs.
• Avoid if you have active peptic ulcer
• severe renal
• hepatic
• or heart failure.
• Use with caution in patients with asthma
• may trigger bronchospasm.
• Do not use in pregnancy
• especially in the third trimester.
• Avoid concurrent use with anticoagulants or other NSAIDs.
• Do not exceed the recommended dose.
