Indication

Candazole® is an antifungal cream used for the treatment of fungal skin infections caused by dermatophytes and yeasts, including tinea pedis (athlete's foot), tinea cruris (jock itch), tinea corporis (ringworm), and cutaneous candidiasis.

Ingredients

• Clotrimazole 1% w/w (cream)

Direction

Adults and children: apply a thin film to the affected and surrounding skin area(s) twice daily (morning and evening). Continue treatment for 2–4 weeks even if symptoms improve. For tinea pedis, treatment may be continued for up to 4 weeks.

Side effects

• Mild burning or stinging sensation at the application site (occasional).
• Skin irritation
• redness
• or itching (uncommon).
• Allergic contact dermatitis (rare).

Precautions

• For external use only.
• Avoid contact with eyes.
• Do not use if hypersensitive to clotrimazole or any ingredient in the formulation.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Discontinue if signs of hypersensitivity or chemical irritation occur.
