Indication

Orrepaste® (triamcinolone acetonide oral paste) is used for the symptomatic relief of inflammatory and ulcerative lesions of the oral mucosa, including aphthous ulcers (canker sores) and other inflammatory conditions of the mouth.

Ingredients

• Triamcinolone Acetonide 0.1%

Direction

Adults: apply a small amount (approximately 0.5 cm) to the lesion at bedtime and/or two to three times daily, after meals. Dab gently — do not rub. Do not eat or drink for 30 minutes after application.

Side effects

• Local burning or tingling sensation at the application site (occasional).
• Oral candidiasis with prolonged use.
• Systemic effects with extensive or prolonged use (rare).

Precautions

• Do not use if hypersensitive to triamcinolone acetonide or corticosteroids.
• Prolonged use is not recommended without medical supervision.
• Not for treatment of fungal
• bacterial
• or viral oral infections.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Avoid use in children under 6 years.
