ROPERAN 10 mg

Indication

Symptomatic relief of nausea and vomiting. Treatment of bloating, abdominal fullness, and regurgitation.

Ingredients

• Domperidone 10 mg

Direction

Adults and adolescents ≥12 years (≥35 kg): 10 mg up to three times daily, taken before meals. Maximum 30 mg per day. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration.

Side effects

• Dry mouth.
• Headache.
• Galactorrhoea or gynaecomastia (rare
• prolonged use).
• QT prolongation (rare).
• Extrapyramidal reactions (rare).

Precautions

• Contraindicated with potent CYP3A4 inhibitors (e.g. ketoconazole
• erythromycin).
• Risk of QT prolongation — avoid in patients with cardiac arrhythmia or QT prolongation.
• Contraindicated in hepatic impairment and prolactin
• releasing pituitary tumour.
• Use with caution in renal impairment.
• Keep out of reach of children.
