Vometa FT® 10 mg

Indication

Symptomatic relief of nausea and vomiting. Relief of bloating, abdominal distension, and regurgitation in adults and adolescents.

Ingredients

• Domperidone 10 mg

Direction

Adults and adolescents ≥12 years (≥35 kg): 10 mg (1 fast-dissolving tablet) up to three times daily before meals. Maximum 30 mg per day. Use lowest effective dose for the shortest duration.

Side effects

• Dry mouth.
• Headache.
• Galactorrhoea or gynaecomastia (rare).
• QT prolongation (rare).
• Extrapyramidal reactions (rare).

Precautions

• Contraindicated with potent CYP3A4 inhibitors.
• Risk of QT prolongation.
• Contraindicated in hepatic impairment and prolactin
• releasing tumours.
• Use with caution in renal impairment.
• Keep out of reach of children.
