Indication
Adjunct anti-inflammatory and anti-oedematous treatment in post-traumatic oedema, post-operative swelling, and inflammatory conditions of the ENT region.
Ingredients
- Alpha
- chymotrypsin 4.2 mg (buccal/sublingual)
Direction
Adults: 1 tablet dissolved slowly under the tongue or buccally three to four times daily between meals. Do not swallow whole.
Side effects
- Nausea.
- GI discomfort.
- Oral mucosa irritation.
- Allergic reactions (rare).
Precautions
- Contraindicated in known hypersensitivity to chymotrypsin.
- Use with caution in patients on anticoagulant therapy.
- Avoid in severe hepatic or renal impairment.
- Keep out of reach of children.
