Alphachymotrypsine 4.2mg

Indication

Adjunct anti-inflammatory and anti-oedematous treatment in post-traumatic oedema, post-operative swelling, and inflammatory conditions of the ENT region.

Ingredients

• Alpha
• chymotrypsin 4.2 mg (buccal/sublingual)

Direction

Adults: 1 tablet dissolved slowly under the tongue or buccally three to four times daily between meals. Do not swallow whole.

Side effects

• Nausea.
• GI discomfort.
• Oral mucosa irritation.
• Allergic reactions (rare).

Precautions

• Contraindicated in known hypersensitivity to chymotrypsin.
• Use with caution in patients on anticoagulant therapy.
• Avoid in severe hepatic or renal impairment.
• Keep out of reach of children.
