Indication
Treatment and prevention of vitamin B1, B6, and B12 deficiencies. Used as adjunct therapy in peripheral neuropathy, nerve pain, and neurological disorders.
Ingredients
- Mecobalamin (Methylcobalamin) 500 mcg
- Pyridoxine hydrochloride (Vitamin B6) 100 mg
- Thiamine mononitrate (Vitamin B1) 100 mg
Direction
Adults: 1 capsule once to three times daily, or as directed by a physician. Take with or after food.
Side effects
- Nausea (rare).
- Allergic reactions (rare).
- Sensory neuropathy with long
- term high
- dose B6 (rare).
Precautions
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Consult a doctor before use if pregnant or breastfeeding.
- High
- dose pyridoxine (B6) over prolonged periods may cause sensory neuropathy.
- Mecobalamin should be used with caution in patients with Leber's hereditary optic atrophy.
