Laroscorbine 1g + 5ml

Indication

Used for the prevention and treatment of Vitamin C deficiency (scurvy) and to supplement calcium. May support immune function and bone health.

Ingredients

• Vitamin C (Ascorbic acid) 1 g
• Calcium gluconate

Direction

Adults: As directed by a physician. Typically 1 ampoule (5 ml) daily, diluted or as instructed. The solution may be taken orally.

Side effects

• At high doses: diarrhoea
• stomach cramps
• nausea.
• Rarely: kidney stone formation with prolonged high
• dose use.

Precautions

• High doses of Vitamin C may cause kidney stones in susceptible individuals.
• Use with caution in patients with glucose
• 6
• phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) deficiency.
• Do not exceed recommended dose.
• Consult a doctor during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
• Keep out of reach of children.
