Indication

A second-generation antihistamine used to relieve symptoms of allergic rhinitis (seasonal and perennial), allergic conjunctivitis, urticaria, and other allergic skin conditions.

Ingredients

• Cetirizine hydrochloride 10 mg

Direction

Adults and children over 12 years: 1 tablet (10 mg) once daily. Children 6–12 years: 5 mg twice daily or 10 mg once daily. Take with or without food.

Side effects

• Drowsiness
• fatigue.
• Dry mouth
• headache.
• Rarely: allergic reactions.

Precautions

• May cause mild drowsiness — use caution when driving or operating machinery.
• Use with caution and adjust dose in patients with renal impairment.
• Keep out of reach of children.
