Indication
A paediatric vitamin and calcium supplement used for the prevention and treatment of calcium and vitamin deficiencies in children. Supports bone development and growth.
Ingredients
- Calcium gluconate
- Vitamins (including Vitamin D and B vitamins) per 5 ml dose
Direction
Children: As directed by a physician or pharmacist, typically 5 ml once or twice daily with meals.
Side effects
- Generally well tolerated.
- Excess calcium: constipation
- nausea.
- Hypervitaminosis D with excessive long
- term use.
Precautions
- Do not exceed the recommended dose.
- Monitor calcium levels during prolonged treatment.
- Keep out of reach of children.
