EFFERALGAN PARACETAMOL 300mg

Indication

Efferalgan Paracetamol is used for the relief of mild to moderate pain and reduction of fever, including headache, dental pain, musculoskeletal pain, and fever associated with common cold and flu.

Ingredients

• Paracetamol 300 mg

Direction

Adults: 300–600 mg (1–2 tablets) every 4–6 hours as needed. Do not exceed 4 g (4000 mg) in 24 hours. Dissolve effervescent tablets in a glass of water before taking. Take with or without food.

Side effects

• Generally well tolerated at recommended doses.
• Allergic reactions (rash
• urticaria) — rare.
• Hepatotoxicity with overdose.

Precautions

• Do not use with other products containing paracetamol.
• Avoid in patients with severe liver disease or chronic heavy alcohol use.
• Overdose can cause serious liver damage
• seek emergency help immediately if overdose is suspected.
• Consult a doctor if symptoms persist beyond 3 days (fever) or 5 days (pain).
