MEDITADINE 4mg

Indication

MEDITADINE is a first-generation antihistamine used for the symptomatic relief of allergic conditions including hay fever, allergic rhinitis, urticaria (hives), pruritus, and other allergic skin reactions.

Ingredients

• Chlorpheniramine maleate 4 mg

Direction

Adults and children over 12 years: 4 mg (1 tablet) 3–4 times daily. Children 6–12 years: 2 mg (half tablet) 3–4 times daily. Children 2–5 years: 1 mg 3–4 times daily (syrup formulation preferred). Maximum adult dose: 24 mg in 24 hours.

• Urinary retention.
• Constipation.
• Nausea.

Precautions

• May cause significant drowsiness
• avoid driving or operating machinery.
• Avoid alcohol during treatment.
• Use with caution in patients with enlarged prostate
• glaucoma
• or urinary retention.
• Not recommended for newborns or premature infants.
• Use with caution in elderly patients.
• Consult a doctor during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
• Keep out of reach of children.
