Punchderm MAX Metronidazole Benzoate + Chlorhexidine Propionate

Indication

Punchderm MAX is a topical antimicrobial cream used for the treatment of infected skin wounds, ulcers, and superficial skin infections where both anaerobic bacteria and broad-spectrum antiseptic cover are required. Metronidazole targets anaerobic organisms and chlorhexidine provides broad antiseptic activity.

Ingredients

• Metronidazole benzoate (equivalent to Metronidazole)
• Chlorhexidine propionate

Direction

Adults: Clean the affected area and apply a thin layer of cream 1–2 times daily. Cover with a clean dressing if necessary. Duration of treatment as directed by a physician.

Side effects

• Skin irritation or burning at the application site.
• Contact dermatitis.
• Skin sensitisation to chlorhexidine (rare).
• Allergic reactions.

Precautions

• Avoid contact with eyes.
• Not for ophthalmic or internal use.
• Discontinue if allergic reaction or irritation occurs.
• Not recommended for prolonged use without medical supervision.
• Inform doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
• Keep out of reach of children.
