Indication

Cutacnyl 10% Gel (Benzoyl Peroxide) is a topical agent used for the treatment of mild to moderate acne vulgaris. It has antibacterial activity against Cutibacterium acnes and a keratolytic effect.

• Benzoyl Peroxide 10%

Direction

Adults and adolescents: Cleanse and dry skin thoroughly. Apply a thin layer to the affected area once daily (usually at night initially, then twice daily if tolerated). Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and mucous membranes. Start with once daily to assess tolerability.

Side effects

• Very common: skin dryness
• peeling
• erythema
• burning
• and stinging.
• Bleaching of hair or clothing on contact.
• Rare: allergic contact dermatitis.

Precautions

• For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes
• mouth
• and mucous membranes.
• Benzoyl peroxide bleaches clothing
• hair
• and fabric — take care.
• May cause significant skin dryness
• peeling
• and irritation
• especially initially.
• Avoid concurrent use with other drying/abrasive products.
• Use sunscreen as photosensitivity may increase.
• Discontinue if severe irritation or allergy occurs.
• Not recommended for use in children under 12 without medical advice.
