Indication

CTZ 10 mg is a second-generation antihistamine (cetirizine) used for the relief of symptoms of allergic rhinitis (seasonal and perennial), chronic urticaria (hives), and other allergic conditions such as itchy skin rashes.

Ingredients

• Cetirizine hydrochloride 10 mg

Direction

Adults and children over 12 years: 10 mg once daily. Children 6–12 years: 5 mg twice daily or 10 mg once daily. Take with or without food, with water.

Side effects

• Drowsiness.
• Headache.
• Dry mouth.
• Fatigue.
• Dizziness.

Precautions

• Use with caution in renal impairment — dose reduction may be needed.
• May cause drowsiness — avoid driving or operating machinery if affected.
• Do not use if allergic to cetirizine or hydroxyzine.
• Consult a doctor before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
• Avoid alcohol during treatment.
• Keep out of reach of children.
