Clotrimazole Cream 1pct 200mg

Indication

Clotrimazole Cream 1% is a topical imidazole antifungal used to treat fungal skin infections including tinea pedis (athlete's foot), tinea cruris (jock itch), tinea corporis (ringworm), cutaneous candidiasis, and pityriasis versicolor.

Ingredients

• Clotrimazole 10 mg/g (1%) cream

Direction

Apply a thin layer of cream to the affected and surrounding area 2–3 times daily for 2–4 weeks depending on the infection. Wash and dry the area before applying. Continue treatment for at least 2 weeks after symptoms resolve to prevent recurrence.

Side effects

• Mild burning or stinging sensation on application.
• Local skin irritation or redness.
• Itching.
• Skin rash (rare).

Precautions

• For external use only.
• Avoid contact with eyes.
• Do not use on open wounds or broken skin.
• Consult a doctor if no improvement occurs within 4 weeks.
• Do not use as a vaginal preparation without medical advice.
• Keep out of reach of children.
