Biozom 40 40mg

Indication

Biozom 40 is a proton pump inhibitor used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), peptic ulcers, and conditions of excess stomach acid. It reduces the production of gastric acid.

Ingredients

• Omeprazole 40 mg

Direction

Adults: 1 capsule (40 mg) once daily, preferably before a meal. Treatment duration as directed by a physician. For peptic ulcer, usual course is 4–8 weeks.

Precautions

• Inform your doctor if you have liver disease.
• Long
• term use may reduce magnesium and vitamin B12 levels.
• May mask symptoms of gastric cancer
• exclude malignancy before use.
• Avoid abrupt discontinuation without physician advice.
• Keep out of reach of children.
