Indication

Theralene 5 mg is a phenothiazine antihistamine used for the symptomatic treatment of allergic conditions including urticaria and pruritus, as well as for sedation and relief of anxiety-related insomnia, particularly in children.

Ingredients

• Alimemazine tartrate 5 mg

Direction

Adults: 5–10 mg up to 3 times daily. Children (2–12 years): 2.5–5 mg as directed by a physician. Usually taken at night for sedation. Exact dose is determined by the physician based on age and weight.

Precautions

• Causes significant drowsiness
