Parafast 650mg

Indication

Parafast is an analgesic and antipyretic used for the relief of mild to moderate pain including headache, toothache, backache, menstrual pain, and for the reduction of fever.

Ingredients

• Paracetamol 650 mg

Direction

Adults and children over 12 years: 1 tablet (650 mg) every 4–6 hours as needed. Maximum 4 tablets (2600 mg) per day. Take with water. Avoid taking other paracetamol-containing products simultaneously.

Side effects

• Generally well tolerated at recommended doses.
• Rare: allergic reactions
• rash.
• Overdose: hepatotoxicity (liver damage).

Precautions

• Do not exceed the recommended dose
• overdose may cause serious liver damage.
• Avoid in patients with significant liver impairment.
• Caution in patients who consume alcohol regularly.
• Not recommended for children under 12 years.
• Keep out of reach of children.
