Indication

Myda-B is a combination topical product containing an antifungal (miconazole) and a corticosteroid (betamethasone) used for skin conditions complicated by both fungal infection and inflammation, such as tinea with eczematous component.

Ingredients

• Miconazole nitrate 2%
• Betamethasone valerate 0.1%

Direction

Apply a thin layer to the affected area twice daily (morning and evening) for 2–4 weeks. Do not use under occlusive dressings.

Side effects

• Burning
• itching
• or irritation at application site.
• Skin atrophy with prolonged use.
• Rare: systemic corticosteroid effects with extensive use.

Precautions

• Not for long
• term use
• taper or stop once infection and inflammation are controlled.
• Do not apply to face
• underarms
• or groin unless directed by a physician.
• Avoid contact with eyes.
• Not recommended in children under 2 years.
• Keep out of reach of children.
