Onvin 8 (Ondansetron) is a selective serotonin 5-HT3 receptor antagonist used for the prevention and treatment of nausea and vomiting associated with chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and post-operative procedures.
Adults: 8 mg given orally 1β2 hours before chemotherapy or surgery, followed by 8 mg after 8 hours, then 8 mg every 12 hours for 1β2 days. Post-operative nausea: 16 mg orally 1 hour before surgery. Dose as directed by physician.
