Wormceel 400 400mg

Indication

Wormceel 400 is an antiparasitic agent used to treat intestinal helminthiasis including infections caused by roundworm (Ascaris lumbricoides), hookworm (Ancylostoma, Necator), whipworm (Trichuris trichiura), pinworm (Enterobius vermicularis), and other susceptible worm species.

Ingredients

• Albendazole 400 mg

Direction

Adults and children 2 years and older: 400 mg (1 tablet) as a single dose for most intestinal worm infections. May repeat after 2–3 weeks if necessary. Take with or without food.

Side effects

• Nausea
• abdominal pain
• Dizziness
• headache
• Elevated liver enzymes (rare)

Precautions

• Contraindicated in pregnancy — teratogenic risk.
• Women of childbearing age should use contraception during treatment.
• Use with caution in patients with liver impairment.
• Not recommended in children under 2 years without medical advice.
• Keep out of reach of children.
