Indication

Enterogermina is a probiotic used to restore and maintain the normal intestinal flora, particularly following antibiotic therapy, acute diarrhea, and other gastrointestinal disturbances that disrupt the gut microbiota.

Ingredients

• Bacillus clausii spores 2 billion spores per vial

Direction

Adults: 2–3 vials per day. Children: 1–2 vials per day. Shake vial before use and take between meals or as directed by a physician. May be taken directly or mixed with water/milk.

Side effects

• Generally well tolerated
• Mild abdominal discomfort (rare)

Precautions

• Consult a physician if diarrhea is accompanied by blood
• fever
• or severe dehydration.
• Store refrigerated — do not use if stored at incorrect temperature for extended periods.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Not a substitute for oral rehydration in acute gastroenteritis.
