Upsa efferalganmed 30mg/ml

Indication

Upsa Efferalganmed is a paracetamol oral solution used to relieve mild to moderate pain and reduce fever in adults and children. It is commonly used for headache, toothache, muscle pain, sore throat, and fever associated with cold or flu.

Ingredients

• Paracetamol (Acetaminophen) 30 mg per ml

Direction

Dose based on weight: 10–15 mg/kg per dose every 4–6 hours. Adults (60–75 kg): approximately 20–25 ml (600–750 mg) per dose. Do not exceed 5 doses in 24 hours. Maximum adult dose: 4,000 mg per day (about 133 ml). Children: dose by weight and age as directed by a physician.

Side effects

• Rare at therapeutic doses: skin rash
• allergic reactions
• Hepatotoxicity in overdose

Precautions

• Do not exceed the recommended dose.
• Avoid concurrent use with other paracetamol
• containing products.
• Use with caution in patients with liver or kidney impairment.
• Do not use for more than 3 days for fever or 5 days for pain without medical advice.
• Keep out of reach of children.
