Indication

Relief of productive cough and chest congestion by reducing mucus viscosity and facilitating expectoration in adults.

Ingredients

• Carbocisteine 250mg per 5ml

Direction

Adults: 10 ml (500mg) three times daily, or as directed by a physician. May be reduced to 5 ml three times daily once improvement is achieved.

Side effects

• Nausea and gastrointestinal discomfort.
• Diarrhea.
• Rarely
• skin rash or allergic reaction.

Precautions

• Use with caution in patients with active peptic ulcer.
• Consult a doctor if symptoms do not improve within 7 days.
• Not recommended in the first trimester of pregnancy.
• Keep out of reach of children.
