Indication
- Adjunctive treatment for epilepsy - Lennox-Gastaut syndrome seizures - Management of severe anxiety - Short-term relief of agitation
Ingredients
- Clobazam
Direction
Take orally as prescribed by a physician. May be taken with or without food, typically once or twice daily.
Side effects
- Somnolence and sedation
- Dizziness and coordination issues
- Fatigue and lethargy
- Drooling (especially in children)
- Aggression or irritability
Precautions
- Risk of physical and psychological dependence
- Potential for severe respiratory depression
- Do not discontinue abruptly without supervision
- Avoid concurrent use with alcohol
- Monitor for suicidal thoughts or behaviors
