Indication
- Acute and chronic dental infections - Dental abscesses - Periodontitis and gingivitis - Stomatitis - Prevention of post-operative dental infections
Ingredients
- Spiramycin and Metronidazole
Direction
Take tablets orally with a glass of water, preferably during or at the end of a meal to minimize stomach upset. Usually taken 2 to 3 times daily as prescribed.
Side effects
- Metallic taste in the mouth
- Nausea and vomiting
- Stomach pain or cramps
- Darkening of urine
- Loss of appetite
Precautions
- Avoid alcohol consumption during treatment
- History of macrolide allergy
- Monitor for neurological disorders
- Caution in patients with liver impairment
- Discontinue if incoordination or dizziness occurs
