Indication
Treatment of parasitic infections: strongyloidiasis, onchocerciasis (river blindness), scabies, and head lice
Ingredients
- Ivermectin 6mg
Direction
Take on an empty stomach with water. Strongyloidiasis: 200mcg/kg as single dose. Scabies: 200mcg/kg as single dose, may repeat after 2 weeks. As directed by physician.
Side effects
- Dizziness
- nausea
- diarrhea
- abdominal pain
- rash
- itching (may worsen initially due to parasite die
- off). Rare: hypotension
- tachycardia.
Precautions
- Not for children weighing less than 15kg. Use with caution in patients with Loa loa co
- infection. Take on empty stomach. Prescription required.
