Indication
Nasal decongestant - 12 hour relief
Ingredients
- Oxymetazoline HCl 0.05%
Direction
Pump mist. No drip formula.
Side effects
- Common: nasal burning
- stinging
- dryness.
- Uncommon: sneezing
- headache.
- Rebound congestion with prolonged use.
- Rare: cardiovascular effects (palpitations
- hypertension) with excessive use.
- Rare: insomnia
- tremor.
Precautions
- Do not use for more than 3β5 consecutive days β rebound nasal congestion (rhinitis medicamentosa) may occur.
- Contraindicated in patients with atrophic rhinitis.
- Use with caution in patients with hypertension
- hyperthyroidism
- coronary artery disease
- or diabetes.
- Avoid in patients receiving MAO inhibitors.
- Not recommended for children under 6 years without medical advice.
- Keep out of reach of children.
