Caltoux Dextromethorphan Syrup 5 mg/5 ml

Indication

Symptomatic relief of dry cough in children.

Ingredients

• Dextromethorphan hydrobromide 5 mg per 5 mL

Direction

Child under 2 years old: 1 mL (1 mg/kg/day) divided into 3 to 4 doses. Child from 2 to 6 years old: 2.5 mL every 4 hours if needed. Do not exceed 15 mL per day. Child from 6 to 10 years old: 5 mL every 4 hours if needed. Do not exceed 20 mL per day. Child from 10 to 12 years old: 5 mL every 4 hours if needed. Do not exceed 30 mL per day. Child from 12 to 15 years old: 10 mL every 4 hours if needed. Do not exceed 40 mL per day.

• Keep out of reach of children
• Store below 30°C
• protect from light and humidity
• Do not use in children under 2 years without medical advice
• Not recommended for productive cough
