Indication
- Respiratory tract infections - Ear, nose and throat infections - Urinary tract infections - Skin and soft tissue infections
Ingredients
- Amoxicillin 250 mg
Direction
Take orally, usually every 8 hours; complete the full prescribed course even if symptoms improve.
Side effects
- Nausea
- diarrhoea and abdominal discomfort
- Skin rash
- Allergic reactions including anaphylaxis (rare)
- Oral or vaginal thrush
Precautions
- Do not use in patients allergic to penicillins
- Use with caution in renal impairment
- May reduce effectiveness of oral contraceptives
- Seek medical help if rash
- swelling or breathing difficulty occurs
