Indication

Vitamin B5 deficiency, wound healing support

Ingredients

• Dexpanthenol (Vitamin B5) 250mg/ml

Direction

Adults: 250–500 mg (1–2 ml) by slow intravenous or intramuscular injection, once or twice daily, or as directed by a physician. For hospital/clinical use only.

Side effects

• Generally well tolerated.
• Rare: allergic reactions (skin rash
• urticaria).
• Rare: injection
• site pain.
• Very rare: diarrhoea with high oral/IM doses.

Precautions

• For use under medical supervision only.
• Contraindicated in known hypersensitivity to dexpanthenol or pantothenic acid.
• Use with caution in patients with intestinal obstruction (for gut motility indications).
• Keep out of reach of children.
