Indication

- Prevention and treatment of dehydration - Fluid and electrolyte replacement due to diarrhea or vomiting

Ingredients

• Glucose + electrolytes (oral rehydration salts)

Direction

Dissolve the contents of one sachet in the volume of clean drinking water stated on the label and drink in small amounts. Discard any unused solution after 24 hours.

Side effects

• Vomiting if taken too quickly
• Rarely
• excess sodium (hypernatremia) with overuse or insufficient water

Precautions

• Dissolve only in clean drinking water
• do not add to milk
• juice or other liquids
• Seek medical advice if symptoms are severe or persist
• or in cases of high fever or bloody stools
• Use with caution in patients with kidney impairment
