Indication

- Symptomatic treatment of pain from spasms of the digestive tract and bile ducts - Acute spasmodic and painful conditions of the urinary tract (renal colic) - Painful spasmodic conditions in gynecology - Adjuvant treatment of uterine contractions during pregnancy

Ingredients

• Phloroglucinol 80 mg

Direction

Adults usually take 2 tablets at the time of a painful episode, repeated if necessary for severe spasms. Tablets may be placed under the tongue or dissolved in a glass of water.

Side effects

• Generally well tolerated
• Rare allergic skin reactions (rash
• hives)
• Rarely angioedema or hypotension
• Very rarely anaphylactic shock

Precautions

• Do not use if allergic to phloroglucinol
• Seek medical advice if pain persists or worsens despite treatment
• Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding only on medical advice
• Some orodispersible forms contain sucrose
• caution in diabetics and sugar intolerance
