Indication
Antispasmodic for smooth muscle spasms, abdominal pain
Ingredients
- Phloroglucinol hydrate 80mg
Direction
Adults: take 1β2 tablets (80β160 mg) up to three times daily as needed for acute pain. Swallow whole with water. Do not exceed 6 tablets (480 mg) per day. Do not use for more than 5 days without medical advice. Children: use only under medical supervision.
Side effects
- Generally well tolerated.
- Rarely: allergic reactions (skin rash
- urticaria).
- Mild nausea may occur.
Precautions
- Do not use in patients with known hypersensitivity to phloroglucinol.
- Consult a doctor before use in pregnancy or breastfeeding.
- This product is an antispasmodic β seek medical evaluation if abdominal pain is severe
- persistent
- or accompanied by fever
- blood in stool
- or vomiting.
- Not a first
- line analgesic for severe organic conditions
- treat underlying cause.
- Keep out of reach of children.
