Indication

- Treatment of intestinal worm infestations - Soil-transmitted helminth infections - Filariasis (suppression of microfilariae) - Strongyloidiasis

Ingredients

• Albendazole 400 mg + Ivermectin 6 mg

Direction

Take as a single dose or short course as prescribed by a doctor, with or after food; the tablet may be chewed or swallowed whole.

Side effects

• Nausea
• abdominal pain
• diarrhea
• Headache and dizziness
• Itching or skin rash
• Elevated liver enzymes (with prolonged use)

Precautions

• Avoid in pregnancy unless prescribed
• caution while breastfeeding
• Use with caution in liver disease
• Not for use with Loa loa heavy infection (risk of severe reaction)
• Periodic liver function and blood count monitoring with prolonged use
