Indication
Bromhexine P.P.M syrup is a mucolytic and expectorant indicated in children and adults for the symptomatic treatment of bronchial secretion disorders, particularly during acute bronchitis and acute episodes of bronchopneumopathies, where fluidification of thick mucus and facilitation of expectoration are required.
Ingredients
- Bromhexine chlorhydrate 4 mg / 5 ml
Direction
Oral route, syrup. Children 2-6 years: 2.5 ml three times a day. Children 6-12 years: 5 ml three times a day. Adults and children over 12 years: 10 ml three times a day. Use the measuring device supplied. Do not exceed the recommended doses. Duration of treatment should generally not exceed 8 to 10 days without medical advice.

Precautions
- Use with caution in patients with history of gastric or duodenal ulcer
- Caution in severe hepatic or renal impairment
- Not recommended in infants under 2 years without medical advice
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding: use only if clearly needed under medical supervision
- Discontinue immediately and seek medical advice if skin rash or mucosal lesions develop
- Do not combine with cough suppressants
