Indication
Treatment of protozoal and anaerobic bacterial infections including amoebiasis and giardiasis.
Ingredients
- Metronidazole Benzoate equivalent to Metronidazole 200 mg (per 5 mL)
Direction
As directed by the physician. Shake well before use.
Side effects
- Nausea
- vomiting
- abdominal pain
- diarrhoea.
- Metallic or unpleasant taste in the mouth.
- Headache
- dizziness.
- Dark/discoloured urine (harmless).
- Peripheral neuropathy with prolonged use.
- Seizures (rare
- at high doses).
- Avoid alcohol during treatment (disulfiram
- like reaction: flushing
- nausea
- vomiting).
Precautions
- Store in a cool place below 30Β°C.
- Protect from light.
- Shake well before use.
