Indication
Oral combined contraceptive for birth spacing and prevention of pregnancy. The ferrous fumarate tablets help replenish iron.
Ingredients
- Levonorgestrel 0.15 mg
- Ethinylestradiol 0.03 mg
- Ferrous Fumarate 75 mg
Direction
Take one tablet daily at the same time each day. Start with the 21 yellow hormone tablets, then take the 7 brown iron tablets, then continue immediately with a new pack. Follow the arrows on the blister in order.
Side effects
- Nausea or vomiting
- Breast tenderness
- Headache
- Breakthrough bleeding or spotting
- Mood changes
- Weight changes
Precautions
- Do not use if pregnant or suspected to be pregnant
- Not recommended for women with a history of blood clots
- stroke
- liver disease
- or hormone
- sensitive cancers
- Smoking while taking combined oral contraceptives increases cardiovascular risk
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist before starting
- seek medical advice if you experience severe chest
- leg
- or abdominal pain
- severe headache
- or visual changes
